The school asked us to design a brand new library incorporating a variety of seating areas and zones for the children to read, research and learn.
Creating different learning zones is a useful way to personalise the learning environment to meet the needs of the individual child. This strategy can be used with all age levels to organise learning spaces into established zones where students can engage with different learning environments and types of content.
The furniture you select matters. Include flexible design seating arrangements that allow students to socialise and collaborate on their work, but also allow areas for solo working.
